Barry Pascal is a partner at Bell Pascal Insurance Services, specializing in estate planning and the funding of shareholders agreements for Entrepreneurs and High Net Worth Families.
With 39 years of experience advising entrepreneurs and families in estate and succession planning, Barry has a reputation for technical excellence without losing sight of the big picture. Barry is frequently called upon to speak about life insurance, estate tax planning and the funding of shareholder’s agreements. He was an instructor for the Quebec Order of Chartered Accountants for 10 years.
Barry is proud to serve as Chair of the Conference for Advanced Life Underwriters (CALU) and was chair of the 2021 Annual General Meeting. He is a fellow of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (TEP), a Master Financial Planner – Philanthropy (MFA-P), through the Canadian Association of Gift Planners and a Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA) through Family Enterprise Canada, the Ivey Business School, and Sauder School of Business. He is a member of the Association de Planification Fiscale et Financière (APFF). He is a graduate of McGill University.
Barry feels enormous gratitude to his community and is inspired to give back. He is proud to have helped create the Jewish Chamber of Commerce (1995). He has also acted as co-chair of McGill University’s Goodman Cancer Research Centre Gala, Chairman of the Annual Campaign of Federation CJA (2015), and as President of the Jewish Community Foundation (2010-2011).
